Privacy Policy
Last updated August 3, 2026. This explains what we collect, why we have it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who holds your data
Soivena. Powered by: Hana Events. Soivena is a DBA of Hana Events + Experiences, operated by Hana Studio, LLC in Arizona. That company is the controller of the personal data described here. Reach us any time at hello@soivena.com.
What we collect
Account details. Your name or stage name, email address, phone number, city, and service area. You give us these when you sign up.
Profile content. Photos, video, pricing ranges, categories, and the description you write. This is published on purpose. Anything you put in your public profile is visible to anyone browsing Soivena, including search engines. It may also appear in Soivena's marketing and promotional work under the content licence in our Terms of Service. You keep the copyright, and we credit you wherever the format allows.
Booking and message activity. Requests, quotes, messages sent through the platform, booking amounts, and dates. We keep these as the record of what was agreed.
Payment details. Handled by Stripe. Full card numbers never reach our servers and we cannot see them. We keep the amount, the date, the status, and the last four digits.
Basic technical data. IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to keep the service working and to spot abuse.
Why we have it
To run your account, publish your listing, deliver messages between clients and vendors, take payment, calculate the facilitation fee, meet our tax and accounting obligations, prevent fraud, and answer you when you contact support. We also send service emails about your bookings and your subscription. Those are not marketing and you cannot opt out of them while you hold an account.
Who else sees it
The other side of a booking. When a client contacts a vendor, each side sees what the other needs to do the job: name, contact details once a booking is underway, event details, and the messages exchanged.
The companies that run the plumbing. Stripe for payments, Supabase for the database and file storage, Vercel for hosting, and our email provider for delivery. Each gets only what it needs to do its part.
Nobody else. We do not sell personal data, and we do not rent or trade it for advertising. We will hand data to law enforcement only where the law actually requires it.
Contact details and the platform
Before a booking is underway, we mask direct contact details in messages. This protects both sides while a deal is still being discussed. It is a platform rule, not a claim that we read your mail for any other purpose.
How long we keep it
Account and profile data stays while your account is open. Booking and payment records are kept for seven years after the booking, which is what tax and accounting rules require. When you close your account, we delete your profile and its media, and keep only those financial records.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email hello@soivena.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in California, the EU, or the UK, you have additional rights under your local law, including the right to complain to your data protection regulator. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising any of this.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to the people who need it, and payment handling is left to Stripe rather than built in-house. No system is perfect. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you.
Children
Soivena is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email account holders before it takes effect and update the date at the top.
